Saint Peter School

St. Peter Catholic School admits students of any race, color, national, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at this school. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship, and loan programs, and athletic or other school administered programs.  Additionally, in compliance with Title IX of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, no person in the school shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, or be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any educational program or activity except permitted under said Title IX.

St. Peter Catholic School, as a ministry of St. Peter Parish, is grounded in the spiritual and moral teachings of the Catholic Church. For this reason, St. Peter’s Admission Policy gives priority to families who are registered in their church parish, actively practicing their faith, and contributing financially to the support of their parish (St. Peter Parish - $400.00 per year prior to December 1).

The order of acceptance, depending on space available, is as follows:

1. Children presently enrolled in St. Peter School,

2. Siblings of children presently enrolled in St. Peter School,

3. Siblings of children who have already completed St. Peter School,

4. Catholic children of families who are registered, active, and supporting members of St. Peter Parish,

5. Catholic children of families who are registered, active, and supporting members of other Catholic parishes which have no parish school,

6. Catholic children of families who are registered, active, and supporting members of other Catholic parishes which have a parish school,

7. Catholic children of other Catholic families,

8. Non-Catholic children.

St. Peter Catholic School is racially and ethnically non-discriminatory in its admission policy. A waiting list will be maintained throughout the year for the purpose of filling any vacancy that occurs during the year, vacancies to be filled in the order of acceptance above.
